Do you only sell Bassoon Bocals?

No! We sell the Jordan-Weisberg bassoon and are Fox and Yamaha bassoon dealers. We also offer used bassoons on consignment. If you have a bassoon you would like to sell on consignment, email Robert Jordan at robertjordan@weisbergsystems.com

Is Nielsen Bocal Supply the same company as Edmund Nielsen Woodwinds?

Not exactly. The current owners of Nielsen Woodwinds were kind enough to sell us the bassoon bocal side of Nielsen Woodwinds. Our aim is to continue the outstanding customer service you expect.

Do you only sell online ?

In addition to our website and mail trials, we have a shop, located in O Fallon, IL just across the river from St. Louis. We are now doing trials at the shop by appointment only.

Do you sell Heckel Bocals or bends not listed on your site?

Yes. We have a wide selection and always aim to keep the most popular in stock, but if it is out of stock, or you want a bocal not listed, we can get it in about 3-4 weeks. British bends, custom, or metals other than German silver or gold brass are considered special order. Special orders cannot be part of a trial or returned unless they are defective.

Do you sell used bocals, bocals on consignment or accept trade-ins?

Sometimes we will accept used bocals as part of a trade or may offer cash if the bocal is in great condition. We are not doing bocal consignments at the moment, but this may change and we will keep you updated!

Return Policy

Because we offer a generous trial period, we do not allow returns unless the bocal is defective and the defect is apparent before 30 days after purchase. Please contact us if you would like more information.
